Trade Overview 23rd August 2024
I felt quite uneasy after the most recent trade that I executed. Even though it did not go to the target, it was not a disaster as such. This time, as every other time, once I closed my position, the price immediately started to drift lower. As usual, I will take this as a fact in learning and be more prudent in the future.
During this trade, I almost lost control. The market pulled back a bit, I felt pressure, but I fielded my trading principles and stuck with the trade. It was a hard thing to do, but I did not act on feelings.
I know it gets only better from here. I honestly can say that Tom Hougaard's exercises are invaluable, and though I don't yet apply them in live trades, I am diligently practicing in my demo trades on Exness. These demo trades are a safe space for me to sharpen my skills and master the lessons I am learning.Every mistake is an opportunity to learn. I have truly seen improvements in my approach, but then I realize this is still an area where I lag in terms of discipline. I am better than yesterday, and my trades are definitely better; yet, always room for more progress.
The key for trading success is to remember that a good trader loses small and wins big. Above all, this is what I need to etch into my trading ballet of strategy and become my lifelong commitment.
